Coated Art paper
This paper stock is available on 115 gsm, 135 gsm, 170 gsm and 250 gsm and 350 gsm - as either glossy or semi-glossy - when you place the order. It is a high quality and double varnished paper. Depending on the machine processing, it can be coated with a dispersion varnish after printing. For this reason we cannot guarantee it can be subsequently written or printed on.
Chromo board
This paper stock is available as 300 gsm for the postcard and presentation folder products. It is very suitable for postcards, as the reverse side is writable. In addition this is a heavy paper stock.
Lamination - Cellophane coating
Cellophane coating involves applying a wafer-thin film to the print product. This not only refines your products, but also makes them more robust and thus more durable. Depending on customer requirements, this film is then given a glossy or matt effect. You can also choose a special matt film with a velvety or linen-like surface
UV varnish
The UV varnish is an additional layer of varnish which creates glossy and perspective-inducing effects. UV varnish can be applied everywhere or in certain areas (UV spot varnish). Varnishing not only generates excellent high-gloss effects, but also makes the product hard-wearing, protecting it from scratches.
PDF (Portable Document Format)
Data format for platform-independent and program-independent data exchange. PDF files are created on the basis of program files or PostScript files. Acrobat Reader, which is available free of charge for all operating systems, allows to open and print PDF documents. PDF is used for: document transfers for the purpose of correction, printing and exposure, remote proofing, download of files from the Internet, CD-ROM catalogues, magazine archives on CD and on the Internet.
The standard series of PDF/X has been developed for using PDF as printing artwork. The printing industry is using the standards PDF/X-1 a for the output of CMYK plus special colours, and PDF/X-3 which allows device-independent colour spaces, such as RGB or CIELAB as well. PDF/X files have to meet certain requirements, e.g. integrated fonts and image data, information about the page size, degree of trapping, as well as integrated output profiles.
We will gladly use your proofs as a colour reference under the FOGRA standard. Please note, however, that despite the proof we cannot guarantee that the printed product will completely match the proof.
Please add a 2 mm or 3mm bleed to each side of your artwork that needs trimming. This is the area which is defined beyond the page size. With this you can avoid white areas, which can arise from the trimming. Please fill out the bleed with the items or background information located at the margin. The minimum distance from the font to the margin of the page size should be 1.5 mm.

A device-dependent colour space used in printing. Cyan, Magenta and Yellow are the primary colours of subtractive colour reproduction. Black has to be added because a combination of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow does not produce a pure black colour.
Please send your data in CMYK mode only. We take no responsibility for errors in printing due to RGB data.
